Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop sound after capturing the public's attention by releasing "Starry Eyed,"" along with "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the top of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music and of independent, arty pop. Her soprano and her ability to write emotionally authentic songs is what makes her stand out. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign her and started preparations to release her debut album.
