Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Most well-known for her anchoring of the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage of both the presidential and 2012 elections. She also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and events during her time as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the limit on debt for the US and deliberations by the super-committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included stories about the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. As a national correspondent she provided breaking news coverage and feature news for over 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. She lives with her family within New York City.
