Songwriting is an inspiration to hopeful producers. Niykee is always listening to beats and finds many songs that inspire her. She says that she can tell if the beat is a good one in less than five seconds. After that, a fresh track will come into her brain. I get the words while I'm sitting on my patio, playing my guitar. Most of the time, it's less than thirty minutes. The pain of Niykee's childhood is a constant source of inspiratation as she progresses as an author. The hurt I experienced growing up and the loss of my sister are still reflected in my lyrics even if they're not literal. It shapes my songs and helps to create this greater understanding behind all things that's one the most important things for me. I want to be able to say that I could listen to any one of my songs in 20 years down the road and be happy with what I had to say.
