Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne with three other siblings. The couple divorced after she was 17. Further financial troubles came in when the company they owned went under. Financial problems were made worse by her anorexia and bulimia. Gossow was the lead singer of ARCH ENIY at the time, stated that she'd decided to quit the band. When I started, it was in the year 1991. My enthusiasm for it was slowly slipping away. After a while, I realized that I could not pretend anymore, but rather quit. The German vocalist Angela Gossow replaced Johan Liiva as the first lead singer of the group in 2000. In 1986, Australian musician John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice".
