Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and gained straight As in her A-levels. While discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman confessed she was regretting that she did not go to University. Coleman when she was still in High School, was part of the theatre company In Yer Space. They performed the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. The play also got an enthusiastic reception. She was awarded with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman received the role as Jasmine Thomas while she was auditioning at drama schools. The audition took place in 2005. Coleman was nominated in 2007 for two Awards. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards, the British Soap Awards as the most promising newcomer and the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. In 2009, she was awarded nominations in two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman was awarded an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press conference held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman was to be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose her due to her ability to work with Smith, and that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's participated in TV and film projects. The most well-known of her roles was TV. Eva's roles in TV series Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami make an impact. The former even earned her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations as well as gave her the chance to explore her creativity in music. Eva is, along with being an actress is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Her third husband is the father of her daughter.
