Coleman was born in the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. Coleman was head of the class in the Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A level. When discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman confessed that she regretted not going to University. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while at school. She performed with them in the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. Her performance was rewarded by the audience, and the show received favorable reviews. Coleman was auditioning to join drama colleges in 2005, got Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. In 2007, Coleman was awarded two prizes. In the British Soap Awards she was named Best Newcomer, and in the National Television Awards she was nominated as The Most Popular Newcomer. In 2009, the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news meeting held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman was to replace Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose her due to her ability to work together with Smith and also because she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the world of film since 1987. However she has been more well-known on television rather than in movies. Eva has played a variety of TV parts, however her roles as Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children and Detective Natalia Boavistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The latter earned Eva two nominations for a Daytime Emmy. Also, she got to showcase her creativity by performing music. Eva is a businesswoman, as well as an actress. Eva has three husbands and one child born from the third.
