Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. She entered the music industry at an early age competing in local contests before when she was 10 years old and making her first recording at 14. In 1987, she dropped her first solo album, after being signed to Rounder Records. The year 1989 saw her asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
