Dua Lipa is a British musician and singer who was born in London United Kingdom on August 22nd, 1995. She decided to sign with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She launched her self-titled debut album in 2017. This album reached number 3 in the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. These included Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. No. 1 track New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 track New Rules. Lipa was awarded the Brit Award in the year 2018 for British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Her album is certified platinum in a number of countries. Dua Lipa, born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London, was born on August 22, 1995. Her mother is Bosnian. There is also a trace of Lipa's ancestral roots to Peja from Kosovo. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. She has two siblings, Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa began to learn how to play the guitar and sing from her father Oda. Oda is the leader singer/guitarist for Kosovan's band Oda.
